Quagga Muscle Inspection
All boats require an Inspection Sticker prior to launching in Lake County waters to protect our lake from invasive quagga and zebra mussels. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office and its Marine Patrol unit are strictly enforcing the ordinance. Violators will be cited for an infraction or misdemeanor, which could result in fines from $100 to $1,000 and/or up to six months in jail.

Tackle It and Edgewater Resort serve as a temporary inspection sites to assist with boat inspections and issuance of stickers for boaters who wish to satisfy this requirement. For more information click here
